What's Your Job?

Same boat as a lot of people here. I can’t get any practical job because I’m below 16.

(I also can’t drive…so…:p)

But I have been babysitting for twelve weeks.

I got paid in a shiny new laptop.

The funny thing about this is that I did the math and I get paid way more than minimum wage for minors.

Currently I work for an event catering company but I’m also writing my own book so maybe I can make money off of that. Once I earn my certificate from ACC, I can charge people who need their PC’s fixed

I’m a loan shark. I give people money and then ask for it back a week later with 100% interest. If they don’t pay-up I break their legs.

I’m a little concerned. First your birthday, then your age, then your location, now your job. Be careful of what you share on the internets folks.

I don’t currently work, but I’m looking for a job moving boxes around.

I work part-time as a busboy at a local restaurant. It’s close to where I live, so I can walk there and back.

But it’s terrible. I would rather live in Kahrzhani.

I get paid minimum wage wheras I do the most work in the entire building.
The dishwashers I work closely with are all insane.
I touch so much eaten food that I’ve gone hand blind to it.
I’ve burned and cut myself plenty.
I only get one half our break per every five hours.
I have no definite end time, so when I get out depends solely on how fast the cooks and dishwashers work at closing.
And many more nuisances that go along that are too specific to mention.

Plus side: free meal at break.

Yeah. Working at restaurants sucks, but hey, it’s a start I guess.

at least it’s not a country club.

buncha kids at my school work at local country clubs and the work conditions are inhumane.

Like literally no breaks, and they sometimes work until 1 am.

I do High School.

I also volunteer at my library and help set up events.

I am currently applying for a job at a soda shop.

Working as a waiter in the summer as a student, it’s pretty bad and nigh-dehumanizing except for that dank paycheck, rollin in the moneyz ayyy. I’ve considered being a cashier at a small local shop, does anyone with retail experience think it’s worth the time/money ?

I own a small tortilla factory/store my family works for me and it’s a busy and hard job.
