But we’re missing the bigger question: will Ekimu reveal the existence of this “higher power” thus unveiling new plot lines or sets? Maybe Ekimu will lead them to his home island – similar to the Metru Nui arc.

It’s caught in a constant time loop; it has no beginning, middle or end.

In the beginning was the mask, and the mask was with Ekimu and the mask was Ekimu. It was with Ekimu in the beginning. All things were made through it, and without it nothing was made
