Why I don’t like Onua Mistika?

yee<p

I think it’s mostly my love for the earth element and the fact that 8 years into bionicle they couldn’t even be bothered to give him A. resemblance to the original B. a logical color scheme C. a good looking mask. I don’t really hate it, it’s just not good enough. Also mistika sound suspiciously like mistake

BTW I failed to mention it but I think my least favorite set ever is Kopeke from 2003. I could get away with Hafu and Taipu getting switched set wise (I can just ignore that). But Kopeke is just and insult, and looks absolutely nothing like the original. I like to pretend that it’s just another character

Heh…
I actually like that Kopeke, and the mask switch isn’t too ridiculous.
My opinions, of course.

I just don’t get this figure at all. Characters changing appearance for NO reason already bothers me, but Kopeke also suffers from an incredibly boring and unappealing color scheme of white and dark grey (hi solek)

I don’t really hate it (heck I really like the 03 matron design), it just annoys me, a lot

My least favorite set I bought is Uxar. It’s an okay set,but the wing span and the fact that the function can barely keep them up,that ruined the set for me.I even prefer Ketar over Uxar, given that he took up less space (and I have slight bias for water and stone characters).

Worst G1 set I used to own: Atakus

Of all the Av-Toran style figures, Atakus was the least interesting I got. Aside from the GitD blades, he was a really boring figure - very plain, really generic build, uninteresting colours, and a really odd helmet. Just not very interesting.

Worst G1 set I currently* own: Nestle Cereal Toa Inika/Piraka toys

I have three of these - Hahli, Thok and Radiak to be precise. While the functions work nicely and the aesthetic of the things isn’t too bad, they still have absolutely no poseability and very, very little reuseability in their parts.

Worst G2 set I currently own: Skull Scorpio

Skull Scorpio is a letdown because up until the mechanical tail, he actually looks quite nice. The tail in question though is an absolute eyesore, looking like something ripped out of the bowels of a Technic 4x4. While the function of the tail is really cool, it doesn’t make up for the look of it. Also, the static legs further hinder the thing’s playability, which is disappointing.

*In 2015 I sold the vast majority of my collection of G1 parts, keeping only parts I use alongside the CCBS today (masks, weapons etc.) and a few of my favourite G1 sets. Since then though, I’ve started collecting other G1 sets that I really liked the look of, and keep said sets individually bagged and archived in a box.

I recently got the Mazeka set, and now since I have one of those incredibly awful av-matoran builds, Mazeka is the worst figure I own. The set is just a bunch of chunks of plastic, with an inconsistent color scheme, and no new mask. In addition, you’re supposed to stick blue pins on him, so he can ride his Swamp Strider. Speaking of the Swamp Strider, though, it is just amazing.

Recently I got the Mask Hoarder set, and sure, it’s got some nice purple recolors, but it’s basically a recolor of Ekimu’s Protector form with the Mask of Control.

Sidorak’s pretty bad too. His arm poseability is almost non-existant, and his left arm is floppy, with a giant gear, like they were going to include a gear function and korgot to.

^^^I am confused as well

Does anybody know how tall turaga vakama’s set is?

Maybe it’s a leaked 2017 set?

(yeah, I know, not likely. I’m just naturally optimistic.)

you have many questions to answer.
