I was curious, since you have not been doing freelance work at LEGO lately, for those unaware would it be possible to clarify what it is you currently do at LEGO? I vaguely recall you mentioning doing work on the monthly/bi-monthly LEGO magazine, but I was unable to source anything further. Thank you!
Eljay - My freelance work was never done at LEGO, it was simply LEGO-related – the BIONICLE novels and NINJAGO books, etc., were things I did in my own time and I got paid by the publishers.
My day job at LEGO Systems is Editorial Director for the Marketing and Channel Development division of the Consumer Marketing Agency. I edit the LEGO Life Magazine and a lot of the other writing that gets done here (we have five writers on staff). I don’t edit the LEGO Life app content, that is another editor.
