I love how angular and stylized is. The colours really make it

Really interesting, it reminds a lot of Atherton, but like, on the ground.
Are the layers class-based? What’s it’s history?

yeah the layers are class based
top level is for the king only
down from that is where the nobles hang out
down from that is where the middle class hang out
bottom level is where the poor dirt farmers live

funnily enough my players have never really asked specifically about the history of the city

what they know is that xian used to be part of a kingdom called hweowher, which was like real big and strong
then the capital city of that kingdom, telmore, accidentally became an epicenter to the zombie apocalypse, and thus they uh kinda stopped being a thing
eventually all the major cities of hweowher, including xian, splintered off and made their own countries

Interesting, how long ago was the apocalypse in relation to what we’re seeing here?

What kind of society is it?

like 500 years ago
a wizard tried to harness the power of a fragment of the god of death and destruction
he failed
dont worry my players took care of that situation

of all the countries I’ve created, Faladen is kinda the most milk-toast

it’s pretty basic stuff

there’s a king, theres nobles, theres people
everyones pretty comfortable with the way things are ordered

pretty typical fantasy kingdom

I gotcha, do you have a map of the larger world? It’d be interesting to see the geographic context for this place.
