this is the part where I say “keep discussion relevant to avatars,” but most of you should know better.

I figured the main reason would have been similar to Nyran’s: Avatar consistency. Or maybe it is… I don’t know. You said your reason was the largest reason for you…
I have to be honest, this Avatar Fad (This is sounds more like a fad…that I am not officially apart of) is pretty interesting… or at least I find it interesting. I don’t know about you guys.

Unlike Nyran, I do occasionally switch my avatar off of my usual shtick. It was usually when I changed my name though. 
It’s interesting enough, but it’s not a “fad.” People have been making their favorite characters their avatars since avatars existed. It’s fine to do and all, but it’s not a new thing.
