Zaria the Heavily Greebled

Zaria the Heavily Greebled was a Toa with a dark past. He went on a quest with Orde and Chiara to locate the Great Beings, and got into a skirmish with a group of Vorox on the edge of a forest.

This model is slightly larger than a Metru build and smaller than an Inika build. It uses a modified version of @RiderBD’s brilliant throwbot head torso.

indeed.
Could use a bit more dark orange on the back, but overall the greebling and parts usage looks awesome!

“So you’re Zaria the heavily greebled.”
“Yep.”
“…Are you?”
“Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes”

Too bad you couldn’t incorporate your Metru foot design into this. Quite a simple moc, but a good one too.

The throwbot torso looks really slick, how’d you do those weird grate-things around the limbs?

This is the right way to greeble… mmph. Thats good stuff man. I would’ve voted this

delightful. simply delightful.

Love the texture. The feet seem a bit too small, but I do find their design fascinating.

Nice, how possible is it?

That neck… it almost looks like one I made (my custom torsos usually end up with the neck being mounted weird, often with a horizontal socket peice like on this moc)

I really love this moc, and I see you’ve found a good use for one of your genius greebling techniques on the limbs. Amazing job likus!

It’s got the poseability of a Metru build, so not very much in the way of shoulder movement.

Dang Likus, you continue to have one of the most distinctive mocing styles I’ve seen. I can always tell if a moc is yours before I even check who posted it. I really like the parts spamming on the shins especially.

This is a really cool build; I remember seeing some of these techniques individually in your older posts. This does a good job of looking like the style of the official “prefab” parts.

I did notice that one of the parts in the right arm seems to be backwards, though:

Yeah I goofed on that one because I disassembled the arm to lengthen it at the last second before doing pictures. The lower arms look like textured chocolate bars.

I love how it’s custom, yet it looks like actual Bionicle parts due to the the colour blocking.

The grates are Harl Hubbs toolbelts from last year’s City sets.

There are so many great things to say about this guy, but I especially like the Geonosis droid heads as his feet!

Thanks, I initially wanted to use smaller horn pieces for the toes, but they don’t exist so I had to improvise. Other spike pieces to consider would be the minifig hand, puppycorn ear, or 1x1 plate with tooth, but none of them curve around like horns do.
