Jacob spots her while searching for that ■■■■ book.

He walks over to her and waves to try and get her attention.

Lauren eats quietly by herself. Well, she was eating by herself.
“Heeey, Lulu! How’s the party girl?” Lauren winces at the sudden influx of noise.
“You keep using that nickname and someone’s gonna catch on, Kara. Then I’m actually going to need to kill you.” Kara laughs, playfully nudging her friend.
“Oh no, I’m so scared. How was the party?” She takes a bite of her sandwich. Lauren shrugs.
“Boring. Just like I thought. I wish I had stayed at home.”
“Mhmm, sure. What’s his name?” Kara drawls after swallowing. I dunno, he didn’t exactly introduce himself before threatening me. Oh, wait, she’s assuming I met a boy I’m not telling her about. Like, a date. Not some creepo in a mask. Lauren looks around.
“Wait, were you asking me?”
“Har har. Funny as always. Come on, give me details!”
“We’ve been friends for how long?”
“Does the period where you hated me count?”
“That was rhetorical. Did you really expect me to talk to anybody at the party?” Kara laughs again.
“Nope, definitely not.” She winks, mouthing ‘Your secret’s safe with me.’ Lauren rolls her eyes, changing the subject.
Jacob clears his throat loudly and shifts uncomfortably.
“Uh… Deja?”
Joey goes to the gymnasium to practice running for cross country.
Bailey puts in some headphones while he eats and listens to some music
after he finishes eating he heads to the gym, seeing joey and nodding as he began doing various exercises
Joey goes into the storage room and comes out with nothing because reasons!
