Blake watched in awe. “Dude…that is ■■■■■■■ awesome.” He commented, following behind Leo.
The marines we’re getting over ran, a few of them went to the scorpions in the hangar, they quickly got in the tanks and began returning fire in them.
“WE NEED REINFORCEMENTS IN THE HANGAR! WE ARE GETTING OVER RAN!” the captain demanded over the comms.
Nos had been running around the ship informing the SOS Sangheili, Kig-Yar, and Ungoy about the situation, they spread the word quickly among themselves and chaos followed suit.
“Nos, they’ve been killing SOS as well. They just commited a ■■■■■■■ massacre in the med bay.” she said over the comms as she was closing in on the bridge, finding more and more resistance as she advanced.
Nos suspected so and was not entirely surprised, yet still his anger grew.
“Where are you guys? I might need help getting to the bridge.” She said, staying in cover as LR Spartans were holding down their position.
“Ah sh*t.” Catina said out loud as she saw those Marines running for the Scorpions. She took her chances with breaking cover and running for the nearest wall, taking some shield damage from the Marine’s AR’s along the way.
Catina used her Mag Boots to sprint up the wall, into the nearest Scorpion’s blind spot, and jumped off the wall with the aid of her thrusters. Then shifting her body towards the nearest Scorpion, and ground pounding the turret gunner. Next Catina used her hands, especially her prosthetic, to grab the edge of the tank driver’s hatch, and use all her strength to rip it open, finally she bellyflopped onto the tank next to the driver who was now exposed, and used her left hand to grab him by the throat and start choking him. Causing the Marine driving the tank to lose focus and start driving around erratically as she choked him.
“There’s some heavier fire power in there if you want it.” Leo told Blake as the two shoulder mounted cannons targeted the scorpions and fired at them. “I’ll head there soon.” He said to Kaitlynn.
Sarah’s hammer ran out of power, but she kept swinging it and killing people with it. “MARY! MOM IS HERE!” She called in panic as marine fire his AR at her. She charged him and crushed his head against the wall, but took a few shots into her arm.
One scorpion aimed at Catina firing as she was choking the driver out. The other two, aimed at Leo and fired at his suits together.
“What do you got?” He asked Leo, looking back at the room.
“Your heart’s desires.” Leo replied as he fired again before dropping a bubble shield.
Blake ran into the room to see what Leo had.
The scorpions began to move to surround Leo as the gunners focused on the other forces against them.
Catina saw the other Scorpion aiming at her in her peripheral vision, and attempted to use her thrusters to get clear of the blast, which still threw her and took her shileds down past zero. Making the alarm and red flashing go off in her helmet.
“Injury and armor damage assessment?” Catina asked Hermes as she lay there. And activated her bubble shield to make sure she could recover before the tank shot her again, also use it to recover from any injuries as much as possible.
The scorpions moved one cannon to aim on Catina as the soldiers were slowly beginning to take back the hangar.
The SOS vehicles began tearing the ship apart. A docked lich cut open one of the doors of a hangar and forced it’s way out, metals scraped against each other as it did so. once out it then began attacking the Darkstar from the outside, targeting it’s weapons, soon after more Lich’s emerged from different hangars of the darkstar and did the same, Banshee’s and Serephs followed suit. bodies from both sides and crates of supplies flew out into the void of space. This small attack force continued to disable the darkstar III’s weaponry. Meanwhile while the hangars emergency procedures sealed the holes back up SOS wraiths began tearing the ship apart from within, their plasma mortars easily melting large holes through the ships walls.
“EVERYONE FALL BACK! WE LOST THE HANGAR FALL-AGGHHH!” The captain screamed as he was thrown out to the void of space, as his forces we’re being sucked out into space.
“Ah hell” Catina said as she got pulled out of her bubble shield, but lying on the floor put her in the path of that tank. So she landed feet first on the side of it, and used her mag boots to at least stick to it in another blind spot. Either as a distraction for anyone else, or for her to come up with her own idea to take the tank out first.
Her idea was to pull Sao Paulo off her back and activate it. Then start hitting the top of the tank between the turret, and the driver’s seat.
Blake came back with a handle and a sword guard attached to his side along with a new sniper. The weapon was painted white with Green and Red lines added to it. "There is a bunch of awesome ■■■■ in there…we need to take whatever we can before we leave, he said happily. As he held his new sniper.
“Maybe as soon as the last tank is dead.” Catina said from her hiding spot on the damaged, but not yet destroyed Scorpion.
The scorpion was caught on some rubble, but was quickly destroyed by the wraiths, not before it could take one wraith down with it.
Catina deactivate her mag boots, and flopped to the floor. A moment later her shields recharged and she stood. Then did her own armor and injury analysis.
Just shield damage, and I can see that my armor’s paint job is a total loss. And I am merely feeling like someone worked me over with a kendo stick. Catina thought.
Leo activated his jet pack and went towards one of the marines. He landed on him and crushed him.
Sarah saw her room, but two marines were going in. She used her jet pack to fly down the hall and threw one into a wall. She grabbed the other and beat him up and tossed the body away. She then went into her room. “MARY!”
“Sis, we have to move now.” Ana said over comms.
