The Vultures dropped from the ship, the rotors keeping them up before they would have crashed into the buildings. Alongside them several Hawks followed as an escort, all around the Pelican.
“Alright, Frostfall, marking waypoint. Watch out for Covenant anti air emplacements and aircraft.” 4728 said from the lead Vulture.

“You know… I had minimal flight training.” Ana said over comms. “I can keep it steady, but I’m probably not able to land this thing.”

“Yeah. They could have had someone else do it, I might have a problem with it, so I never stepped down out of fear of what someone else would do with my life in their hands.” 4728 said.
“Ana I just need you to be able to pick up and drop off the Heavies at the location. Think you can do it?”

“They’ve sent me on suicide missions since 2542. You’re stuck with me now, kid.” 4728 said as the Vultures missiles mounted on the rear spewed dozens of missiles at the fliers.
