I kinda don’t like how theirs 2 Lego movies in 1 year.
Their haven’t been alot of advertisement for TLNM (The Lego Ninjago Movie) until now, but Lego is still likely going to milk LBM even after TLNM launch date. One thing that can notify the Ninjago movie existence is showing the full preview of Sensei vs Chicken before LBM begins in theaters.
It all looks so cool! I admit I’ve had my doubts but this film just looks so bright, colourful and fun- a real breath of fresh air in the Ninjago franchise, which has kinda been feeling same-y recently. Does anyone else get Exo-Force vibes from Kai’s mech? Jay gets the biggest laugh for me at the end of the trailer- these voice actors may just do the trick!
He certainly has changed from the Mark Oliver interpretation, but most of this film has been blown out of proportion for laughs anyway…I just wish he kept the super cool voice, he does sound a bit generic.
I want that Lloyd dragon, probably gonna be expensive regardless if they shunk it for set size. (But imagine if they sticked to that size for the Dragon. OMG I would want it so bad).
L Lyod, made me crack a bit.
You ruind my life with that name, dad.
Thats not true, I havent even been part of your life to even ruin it.
If those vehicles are as cool as they are in the film as sets, I finally have something on my wishlist this year.
I like the trailer. Music choice was meh, but otherwise it was a nice tease. I’m hoping they don’t push the father-son conflict too much, but the quips in this trailer were solid. Just really want to see how the entire cast progresses through this adventure.
The trailer for the movie is great! Makes me look forward to the film, and to Ninjago in general (previously I had lost all interest in the line because I wasn’t too fond of the story, but this sort-of-reboot seems nice!).
i liked that part too, a nice joke on the story of the franchise.
but i would wish that people stopped beliving that this movie is going to reboot the entire Ninjago franchise. The movie has no real connection to the Ninjago TV show franchise at all, its connected to the LEGO movieverse which is why the characters are different, and also why it seems that Garmadon will be the only villain from the franchise that will show up in the story, given that we don’t see any of the skeletons, serpentine, stone armies or any of the other factions from the tv show show up in the trailer.
The one thing that will most likely happen with the tv show is that LEGO will most likely put it and sets made for it on hold, thus giving the creators on that a short break.
That was good, the mechs look amazing and it does have funny moments (love the L Lyod part). However something that bugs me that makes me a nitpicky sonic fan is Lloyd’s green eyes
His eyes just clash from the rest of the characters. But overall this movie is still going to be interesting. And maybe I’ll get the sets from this LEGO Movie.
