The New Hawkhood Dilemma: Conflicts of Good and Evil(RP Topic)

J-73 stands looking at the statue. All he needed was to get a crane helicopter. If only there was one nearby, or someone that could get him one.

Vance could tell someone was nearby and drew a handgun. “WHO’S THERE?” He shouted in an attempt of intimidation

Switchblade’s men were almost finished unloading the materials from the sewers. “The boss’ll kill you if he hears you yappin’ off about 'im that way.” One of them said in retort to a bit of banter. “I’ve seen 'im quite mad after just one 'o these was stolen so you best be watchin 'em with care.”

Most of the other men grumbled about the comment and carried on. The big man himself didn’t seem to be there.

Hinata stayed still. “I’m here to talk with you. On behalf of someone you might know.”

Mirror looked at one of the people, and their reflection filled her form, as it then shifted into that of the man, and some small fragments of his memory would come flashing to her attention.

“never the less their innovation in food is delightful, as tasty as fire was it was much more difficult to create.” Replied the salesman as he grabbed onto the powerline, beginning to drain.

“About what?”

“About your…skill set.” He replies, stepping far enough out of the shadows for his oni mask to be visible. “And how we might be able to benefit one another, us and you.”

The salesman continued to drain as Parvus kept an eye out for any security

“Who’s us?”

Gathering his strength, Pulse launches himself into the air with a combination of physical and telekinetic strength. He vaults over Shade’s head, reaching down with one hand and sending a telekinetic shove at the villain’s head.

Connor drifts ever closer, quietly “ooo”-ing and “aaah”-ing as the two show off their skills.

The silhouette says nothing, watching him depart in silence.

As the pair clash, lightning sounds in the distant horizon. No rain, just dry lightning over the cloudy skies.

But in issue #138 of Blacklist, the comic run that dealt with race wars and the introduction of the villain Clatterer, dry lightning was used as the triumphant precursor to the arrival of the ebony avenger.

“Silver Tongue.” Hinata answers.

He is pushed to the ground, before rushing himself forwards towards where Pulse will land, planning on tackling him when he reaches the ground.

Getting no response, Runa starts to back away, keeping a wary eye on the silhouette, just in case.

The transformed Mirror throws the piece of metal at the man she had imitated, hoping to catch his attention and the attention of few to none of the others as she backed up to be barely in sight.

“Ah, yes. What does he want from me?”

“Your abilities intrigue him, as do they intrigue myself.” Oni says to him. “We believe you might be of use.”

“Sound like a good opportunity. When and where?”

“Your earliest possible convenience, at the same spot you dropped the pig feed.” Oni responds, sinking back into the shadows.

“Well then,” Vance said out loud. He got in his truck and went on his way towards Silver Tongue’s headquarters.

It bumped against the back of his coat, and the man instantly whirled around at the assembled party. It was evident nobody had tapped his shoulder.

“Alright,” He growled, setting down the stack of cases he was about to grab. “Who was it? I want an answer.” His bulldog features contorted in a snarl as he scanned the crowd in front of him.

Mirror, however, would need to get closer in order to be spotted. She had some vague memories of an abusive childhood and hitchhiking to new hawkhood, as well as foggier recent ones of some kind of metal monster, evidently the “boss”.

She creeps closer to the group, making a “come here” gesture with her hand.

None of the other members of Switchblade’s troop made any sort of remark or reaction, all staring silently at the one in charge. Eventually his eyes fell upon his doppelganger.

“WHAT IN BLAZES?!”

He fumbled awkwardly in the inside of his coat for his revolver. Other men started drawing theirs and some dared to simply place their hands by them.
