Transformers: Salvation

Ancient space fighters drift within the hangar, along with a few ruined corpses of what may have been their Knight pilots.

Shafts of blue light from the nearby star flood sections of the hangar, creating the eerie illusion that the bodies and fighters were covered in energon blood.

Halfrunner was waiting for them to return and do so.

Gronius turned to robot mode. He started floating inside the room, gently hitting the floor from time to time to change direction.

None of them knew this.

A few energon cubes drift around the hangar. None of the hangar’s machinery was active, and the fighters seemed to have suffered a great deal of damage as well.

Two bodies could be seen wrapped around each other. It looked as though they had been in the process of tearing each other apart when they died- likely from the injuries they had inflicted upon each other.

Gronius floated to the two bodies, inspecting them.

Zepar carefully looks for the on/off switch and turns off the device.

Epsilon nodded in agreement, “I think security would be very happy to have such a list.” He said, seeing this a a ray of hope.

The two Knights seemed clearly deceased. Their bodies were rent, burnt, and otherwise just barely holding together. They appeared to have been in a vicious struggle with each other in life, and it was likely that the wounds they had given each other had caused their deaths.

The Immobilizer’s lights fade off; the weapon is deactivated. Thrift still found himself unable to move his right hand, though the effect would likely wear off in time. Hopefully.

Shockwave nods.

“I will review the crew’s psychological profiles in my spare time and periodically inform security of suspects to investigate,” he says.

Gronius shrugged and continued exploring the ship.

Delta, on the other side, was floating deeper and deeper into the outer space. She tried to yell for Gronius, to come him, but she couldn’t. Nobody hears you screaming in space.

If Gronius left the hangar, he would find that the corridor beyond still had active artificial gravity.

Gronius hoped into the gravity field, stretching his arms.
“Nothing can compare with the good ol’ gravity, right Delta? Delta?”

The corridor beyond was lit only by the light of the blue star, further continuing the bloodstained look. The walls and ceiling were in ruins, and debris litters the floor. More of the disturbing artwork Zepar’s drone had recorded could be seen here. A statue depicted a figure that might have been Optimus Prime, given that it was holding what looked at first to be the Matrix of Leadership-

-But a closer inspection reveals that this rendition of the Matrix bore a twisted, sinister take on the talisman’s iconic design:

Gronius looked at the statue, before looking behind him. He sighed and jumped out of the corridor, looking for Delta.

Revus saw her and used his rocket to boost himself towards her to assist

As she was drifting away, small pieces of frozen debris were forming on her armour. She closed her eyes as the Energon in her veins started to freeze.

He soon caught up with her, and attempted to grab her

She quickly opened her optics, confused to see Revus there. She tried to ask “who are you”, but no sound could be heard.

Revus began pulling her back towards the ship

She didn’t resist.
Gronius could see the two levitating towards the Salvation from the hangar of the ship.

Getting to the airlock he immediately slung her over his shoulder and began running towards the medbay

As he was running, her body was slowly de-freezing. Halfway through the medbay, Delta became fully conscious again. She took a deep breath before chocking.

Once the two arrived, Forcep quickly hurries over.

“What happened?” he asks urgently.

Motherboard continues to analyze the strange energies coming from the derelict, but is still unable to identify it.
