It let out a screatch and began walking towards them, the club like limbs preventing them from dodging around

“Heck yeah, we do!” Lock confirms as he lets loose a hailstorm of lead from the scrapmaker.
OOC: just to clarify, the scrapmaker is a purely projectile weapon.
The shots seemed to moreso annoy it then anything

Alpha and Seraphicon kept their distance from the creature.
Seraphicon looked to see if anything he could see of the beast would reveal any sort of weakness.

Lock fires a missile from his shoulder at the arthropod’s head, continuing to fire the scrapmaker.
It stumbled backwards then screatched again

Lock redirects the scrapmaker’s fire at the creature’s head while firing another missile.
It’s stinger fired acid at the missile launcher
Seraphicon looked to see if it had a weak point on the joints, head or underbelly that could be visible from his distance.

Lock cried out as the launcher on his right shoulder was rendered inoperable by the acid. He clutches it with his left hand as he continues to fire the scrapmaker. Unfortunately, his aim was thrown off when Alpha tackled him.
Load, however, fires a shot from his rail gun at the side of the arthropod’s head.
It fell over dead, but more scuttling could be heard from the same direction of the first creature

Seraphicon spread his wings threateningly and tried to give his most intimidating growl as he faced that direction, ready to leap back if they got too close.
“Everybody get close!” Lock yells as he gets ready to deploy a bubble shield.
@MaxinePrimal Mordo’s top of the helmet was full of small wholes, some of them having small drops of green venom like liquid.
Surdus was prepared to shot another beast.
Seraphicon does so while Alpha helps Railfire and Mordo get in the group. (@Toa_Vladin, @MaxinePrimal)

Three more of the big arthropod creatures crawled over the ship, showing they were pack animals
