I did a few drawings of some of my dnd characters and figured I’d post them here, the two highest ones are the most recent
Hey cool, always love to see DND characters brought to life.
I actually drew the lamia character three months ago, and looking at it helps me know I’ve come a long way
ah very nice! I like how colorful they are.
Just gonna drop this page I’ve been figiting with, along with a few others;
Also wasn’t happy with the snek so awhile ago I reworked it a bit.
These Dnd drawings are really beautiful. Say will we get an ettin as well?
Finished one of the wips on the page;
Thank you, but I’m not quite sure I follow the latter part of your statement.
An ettin as a DND character.
Ettins are a race of two headed giants.
Ah, possibly then If I ever get the opportunity. However I’ve been actually leaning moreso into the insectoid/mechanical side of things as of late.
I have a proposition for you. Why don’t you take the questions from people and use your own answers and then make the new DND characters based on the answers?
That could be quite interesting to do eventually, but I more-so make these characters based off my general whims.
I’ll take it that you obliged.
I’ll go first.
Let’s say that you made a DND character was an ettin and the ettin is female, what:
- Class would she be?
- Alignment would she be in?
I- sure…
See this highly depends of the campaign/setting/party dynamics, along with the fact a player Ettin would have to be homebrewed.
However if we take a Goliath as a base I’d be tempted to lean towards;
1.) a pacifistic cleric that’s outcasted, working to improve herself and heal where she once had harmed.
2.) necromancer who had lost one of her heads and is using dark magic with the end goal of making herself whole once again.
Uhhh I don’t know? Alignment is an incredibly fickle and inaccurate thing that I generally tend not to use.
do you just really like Ettins?
It is not that. It is because ettins have two heads, which could be advantageous in battles. Not only are they big in size, but having two heads would help her get more perception in the area as well as increased intelligence.
For alignment, it would be somewhere between evil, neutral or good, but it would depend, after all this is up to you.
I know how alignment works, it’s just not a great system that oversimplifies a character’s personality into rigid boxes. Ergo I don’t really like using it, and it’s never really come up in my years of playing DND.
Fair point.
Okay I admit it, I really like ettins .
Still I wonder how the next DND art will be like. Say will you add more posts in the same post similar to how @BBLIR updates his post with more artworks in the My daily Bionicle art?
My next drawing will probably be of a homebrew bee race I’ve been working on for my campaign setting tbh.
At this point I’ve homebrewed so much lore for my setting that the only thing making it DND is the basic game rules.
Uhh, I suppose? I don’t really draw with any frequency, so I’ll update this topic when I have things to update it with.
