I tried reading the original infinity war comic once, and I could not get through because it was complete nonsense.

It was complete nonsense. a few years ago I tried reading it and I genuinely couldn’t get through it first few pages are just the most confusing nonsensical things.
What I was reading was the infinity war story, not infinity gauntlet which I know is the wrong order but now I can’t be bothered

I previously saw an image with Tony Stark dressed like in the first Avengers movie. So this is my theory:
- Thanos collect the Time Stone in Infinity War/ Ant-Man and the Wasp.
- He use it to teleport back in time Ant-Man and Wasp in the first Avenger movie, where he meet Iron Man, Captain America, etc. This is happening in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
- He return at the end of his movie, or in Avengers 4.
This may explain why Ant-Man don’t appear in the Infinity War trailer.
Maybe Ant-Man was in the trailer, he was just too small to see!

I really hope that if they do go back in time, it means we’ll see cap lift Thor’s hammer. I don’t want Thor to get his hammer back because I really like how they reinvented his character in ragnarok. But they hinted at the fact that cap can lift it in age of ultron.
Also If we’re going through time this is absolutely, one hundred percent how they’re bringing in captain marvel.

Well… I really wanted Avengers 4 to be a direct sequel to Infinity War.
I can tell you “with absolute certainty” that the events in this movie will at least majorly influence, if not cause, the plot of the next one.
