Can be bent out of shape very easily I’m guessing.
maybe he meant vahki?
Thats what I meant (derp)
Ah, that makes a lot more sense then.
@TeslaEffect, that’s a long list. Mind elaborating on why you think all of those were bad design choices?

@Calvatron I would swap POS’ Eye Stalk with Ekimu’s. If you do so, POS will have green eyes, and Ekimu will have blue just like they do in the animations.
Bad set design choices
all of the sets from 2008 - 2010
the ball sockets… GOD HELP US ALL!
Flimsy and breakable pieces, my Tahu Nuva Mistika’s arm broke in half when I dropped it, and not like it came off, I mean the piece broke…
I don’t hate him, but to each their own
I wouldn’t say I hate him, but I don’t think he is good enough for me to spend money on, honestly.
fair enough, I think most people are grabbing him mainly for the kakama 8P
At least the color scheme was fluid.
I still don’t know why people say Umbra doesn’t have a consistent color scheme. I’d say Irnakk would be worse in that spectrum.
Also, the Voyatoran suck.
Dude… that is not bad set design in any sense of the word.
It’s a production/molding issue. Not a conscious decision on the designer’s part.
See above reply
I think Skull Scorpio would have looked so much better if the trans-orange was beautiful trans-yellow instead.
But what exactly about him is bad? The keetorange and dark green go very well together. The black goes along with the dark green and the silver is an accent color that goes with pretty well anything.
I don’t see anything wrong with this guy…
Why? Because they look like the decrepit mashed-together Frankenstein creations they’re supposed to be in-story?
FRIENDLY MOD REMINDER: This is a discussion topic, not a “bash everything topic”. If you’re going to say a set has a bad design, PLEASE provide evidence to back up your claim. Thank you!
Well let me begin, hewkii mahri missing one hand, G2 lewa having a raised gearbox, the lower left arm of every piraka, it could have been easily replaced with a metru leg.
Maybe one hand piece would have been over budget?
It was probably a decision made in an attempt to diversify the Toa lineup.
I’d argue that his more unique proportions that stem from the raised gearbox make up for the lack of head articulation.
Oh come on. Don’t enough Inika-builds have gorilla arms?
