That’s right. More plushies. Just in time, because I need the buffer to cook up a Zaria painting for DuckBrick’s fanon contest. I won’t be doing another acrylic painting on canvas like Chiara, but I’m still taking the time to make it look proper. I’ll see what I’ll do when the plushies run out.
And to fill the space, here’s a sketch of Zaria. I’ll post the full artwork in the next post.
Aight, see you in, idk, a week? Two weeks? Depends on how much I’ll manage to fill up my buffer. I’m also crunching on Lyrestruck, so that’s taking some time too.
Anyway, enjoy!
(P.S. lemme know if y’all like the plushies; I wanna make sure they don’t seem like padding)
Are you still taking requests? There’s an idea I had and it’s from one of my short stories - Spares (Spares - a Mata Nui short story).
→ a maskless, armourless Nuhrii suspended in Nuparu’s hut. This part of the lore wasn’t never shown and we also have no visual depiction of a Matoran without armour or even a mask. I wanna see what you come up with.
Day 198! No I will not say the line.
I thought to myself “maybe I’ll make a line of Toa based on the Chronicler’s company”, but then I researched the gang and lost the drive, so for now, just Hafu.
Day 200! I decided to feed my fixation on Ahkmou, upgrading my previous design and making him a full Toa of Shadow (still wearing a Mohtrek), kinda like if he appeared in 2008. This piece inspired a MOC; Ahkmou, Toa of Shadow (Combiner MOC), where I didn’t want to take apart Chirox for the wings (even von Nebula was a risk, insert rant about cracked joints here).
(This is a bonus more than a day 201, because it’s a failed piece.)
I’ll take the next week off, to build up my buffer again, and I’ll continue with art. Maybe I’ll take the time to model my Mohtrek in Blender and maybe try making it a reality.
