Went with a pretty standard situation, but I added a twist: being a Toa of Iron, he could easily fix his battle damage, but knowing he broke the Toa Code, he decided to keep the damage, as a reminder of what he has done. (obviously he fixed the critical injuries).
I applied a bunch of watercolours at once, and not only did that mess up the values (and the shading), but any drop of water that touched those areas picked everything up. Like, on the top left, there’s a bright streak - that was me trying to layer in some reflection colours.
Also, when I shaded the head, a bunch of pigment built up around the edges (too much water), ruining the form.
The shoulder pauldrons seem a little big to me, but aside from that, this is an astounding work of art. You can almost piece it out like a real figure, too, which is a nice bonus for an art entry to have. Good luck.
Is this your original design of Toa Zaria @BBLIR ? If so, would it be alright if I had made a picture of your designed Toa Zaria as fanart for you? I promise I will give you full credit.
Also how did you manage to add watermarks on your artworks? I would like to know how to add watermarks on my artworks as well.
