Some masks look like more gold has been drained from them then others
lewas is almost drained, pohatus is has about the same as lewas, onua has the least drained, and kopakas is half drained

I think Lewas has almost no gold because it’s a prototype piece, which is odd considering it was part of the winter wave.

Chro, I became a fan near the end of 02 and only really got into the story in 04, and I’m also arguing that G2 is no less complicated than G1 was.

@Payinku G1 is not complicated what are you talking about, everything was kanohi and tahunga (matoran) the alphabet turaga and the names of every place person and living thing. Now we have to get masks of power protecters and I will say it again we barely get the names of the toa.

Does anyone here remember Dragon Bolt, from HF Brain Attack? It has a very similar function to Skull Basher to power its wings. Also, I kind of stated his function 16 days ago in the Nuremberg Toy Fair Picture Repository, post 82:
I believe that Skull Basher’s function is that his arms swing around in
front of him to knock his fists together, in order to ‘bash’ opponents
skulls between them…hence his name.
But whatever. The fact is, he has a function, and it’s cool.
Something I noticed when looking at the pieces is that not all of them are as reflective or shiny as I thought they would be. Look at Lewa’s mask and the new armor clip-ons for Skull Basher. They seem very grainy and dull. It could simply be because these are some of the first official models or because the picture was blurry. I hope that’s all it is.

Just built Skull Scorpio and the set itself is growing on me. The tail function is where most the price count comes from and I don’t mind the lack of articulation in the legs as its more something you just pose and use the function with.

Kopaka’s comes out the best out of all of them.
Lewa’s and Onua’s you can barely they are transparent and Pohatu’s just looks odd.
Either way i’m not as interested to ‘collect them all’ due to the lack of Gali and Tahu… who I feel are needed in order to have a true collection of ‘energy drained masks’
