They sound different, but not bad imo. I wonder if they’ll say more about what Okoto was like back then. I agree with the whole aboriginal vibe, it suits Bionicle’s motif so far.
The one in the comic most certainly is a placeholder, the artist makes a lot of mistakes and errors, it’s obvious someone else did the script.

Actually seeing animals other than LoSS, Skull Scorpios, and the creatures really makes me happy. It’s like something you didn’t know you would want until you actually got it

The impression I’m getting so far is that this graphic novel is a retelling of the book, which is in turn a retelling of the animations. Same old content. I’ll save my final judgment when the library order comes through, but right now a lot of the scenes just look like low-quality work.

I would agree if I didn’t actually read/see the previews or the pages with the cute little desert cubs. I think it actually adds to the story in the book and animations and seems more in-depth
