Centipedes can be quite poisonous though, so that’s scarier than it sounds.

Yeah, I’m almost positive combiners will be a thing, especially with all this golden armor the Toa have. I can see them combining into Golden Kaita.

I really hope that isn’t the case, because I like Bionicle because it has a complex story.
I love bionicles complicated story but one of the main reasons lego cancelled bionicle was because the story was too complicated and it was hard for people to get into, so lego is defiantly gonna make the new story less complicated, sadly.
I agree. If Bionicle wants to use simpler words thats fine, but we have used the words like turaga and kanohi for ten years, i doubt that it will affect us. It will only effect the next generation, if bionicle lasts that long. If bionicle sees that in the fan community people are still calling them kanohi, and turaga, and so on, they might even continue to use matoran words like toa and stuff. There is not enough evidence to know what they are planning, so lets just sit here and anticipate what could happen.

It’ll be like old school Kaita meets 2010 “golden Tahu” It’ll be really nice. Plus yay more gold. 
@wolfslash32 I don’t think that’s sad at all. The old story was too convoluted. And While I don’t wish it to be dumbed down I do wish they’d streamline it a bit. Not have all these places and characters that we never see and only hear of once or twice. I want a deep compelling story, but keep it centralized to what’s actually going on. Make sets of all the characters, creatures and what ever else that gets talked about and not have so much obscurity within the new series.
I hope lego is paying attention to these forums and writing things down. This place is a gold mine for demographic research. LOL

I completely agree it needs to be a bit less complicated, i’m just worried lego is gonna take it too far in dumbing it down. If they can meet a perfect in-between of having a reward for people who pay attention to the story and not having it be to complicated i will be a happy camper.

What about getting people to notice or buy it? Do you think it’ll startoff with a game or TV show special/movie or just commercials?
Agreed, that’s why I hope the TTV crew can get Highly Suspect to pay attention and take these concerns back to Lego so that they can hopefully work it out to where its rewarding to the old fans of Bionicle, but still something newcomers can jump into.
Personally, I think they could do a sort of tier system. The cartoon(if they do one) can be what hooks in the younger crowd and new comers, while the comics, serials or books deliver the deeper aspect of the story for those who want it. Nice thing about a multi-media approach is that they don’t have to do all or nothing, they can change the degree of complexity from one media to the other. Which is how I would do things if I had any say.

looking at the leaked pic, Onua is the new Shrek. joking, i dont see a resenblance, but i like the way they are making their physical properties more unique to themselves, like Onua is short but buff, Gali is tall and sleek, and so on. Want to see more news, i hope highly suspect gets more to share!
at first I thought you said gali is tall and shrek lol but onua is the landlord btw nothing else, just the landlord

I personally think onua looks a bit like a samurai. It might just be the angle the set is at but the huge chest and the gold things behind his helmet remind me of samurai armor.

in the first pic, its described as a ‘wobbler’. does anyone know what that means? I’m kind of clueless on that.
They should really make a Trent Krom set.
