Well at least Lego still gives us more concept art, however I feel like his neck is kinda weird.
On a side note, QB now really interests me, not for the set, still garbage, but it will be a perfect parts pack for a few MOCs, as someone mentioned earlier, he comes with crazy ammounts of trans purple, which kinda just KINDA makes up for the atrocity his build is.

we’re at hero factory level now the only way to go is up
I agree the 2016 summer sets are quite dissapointing but they all make up for their bad build or desing in a way.
QB is a terrible build, but it has tons or trns purple pieces in one single set that is 15 bucks at most.
LB imo is not bad, only a bit gappy, and even then he has really good parts, like the trans black crystals and four crystal blades.
SB only has a meh back coverage and those weird open sockets, but even then he has those metru shells which from what I’ve seen are highly sought after.
Ekimu is palso a great parts pack even though I donnt think he is too bad, he has tons and tons of trans light blue pieces which are excellent for MOCs
UTD is flawless too, only being gappy on the back.

Sorry, but the Beast mask looks a million times better than those HF heads, more detailed, actually has eyeholes, and has trans color behind it.
I understand that not everyone will like it, but saying it is on the same level as those invasion from below heads is just not correct.

Alright guys, just because it is “bad” or “ugly” does not mean it is “HF” HF had a lot of great looking sets, and certainly did not have the first ugly ones. I would argue the IFB beasts looked better then the Bionicle beasts, You don’t see me running around saying “Er meh gersh, these sets are skinny and have exposed gears, They are like those evil toa mata!”

Budgetary reasons most likely.
I personally doubt that will happen, and disagree with that statement. I think the sets are way better quality than anything we had in G1. More posing, cooler, different designs, intricate functions, oh the colours (! love the colours…except for some of the Uniters). I think they’re doing very well with what they have.

Eh i hope they up the budget in '017
because tbh it really needs a bigger budget to give us qaulity sets.
i personally think summer sales have been awful because of set qaulity the sets don’t look good to most kids so they honestly don’t wanna buy them
at least that’s my presumption
The summer sets do look underwhelming, but one thing the nailed here was the box art, probably will catch the young ones attention.
Even then I feel like Ekimu having all that gold and trans pieces might be attractive to most kids since they might see him as the big powerful good guy, snd UTD the big powerful baddie.
Regardless most of the beasts relly on box art rather than on their actual looks, specially QB.
Even the artwork has blue pins.
