I say its because it reminds me of Makuta.
Makes sense, but I’d rather Umarak and Makuta look different in all of their forms, just because they’re both bad guys and having them so similar to each other in terms of coloring would be meh. We’ll (hopefully) get our trans purple Makuta.

I agree, but as of now when we dont have Makuta, with the MoCo, it looks the closest to what Makuta would be.
And yes, I hope for a Makuta Titan set.
Only issue with having a Purple Umarak The Destroyer would be as you put here that the Purple reminds you of Makuta.
As such, if people thought the same, they may believe that Umarak The Destroyer is Makuta possessing Umarak - whereas it seems they want to do a situation where the Mask Of Control has either turned him into a beast or changed his form - so they used a different colour scheme.

Call me biased, but I like trans purple more than trans neon green.

In terms of colour preference, if you prefer it - then that’s fine. I’m just trying to base my viewpoint from the standpoint of a set designer and thinking how kids might view the set. Individual preferences on colour scheme do factor into things regarding what you’d be interested in getting.
Personally i may try getting a couple of Umarak to switch the colours around, though will see…

funny thing is, that is what Purple was used as, a regal color.
Well yeah, I know that. That’s my whole point. Umarak isn’t a regal character, which is why it’d look odd on him.

by the way, about the display talk, should we make a separate topic for it if there is none?
also, while im on that part of display, im thinking on not only giving the two skull warriors that im planning on displaying together with Slicer and Basher, armor peices in their colors (as in transparent green rib armor and stuff for the skull warriors with slicer and purple armor for basher’s skull warriors) but also to give them original weapons (like one skull warrior have a sword and shield with Slicer, while the one with Basher have a large battle axe), i might also try to paint their masks to make them different from the blue warriors.
also, for the display, im thinking that for Slicer, he and his warriors will stand on platforms with the arena as their background:
so basicly the display would look like this:
by the way, what do you guys think of having a fog machine making a layer of fog for some of the skull villain displays, i personaly can think of it working with say the skull warriors and skull slicer.
But anyway, this is rather off topic, so just tell me if there is a topic for this and i will move this post there, or i might as well make one myself if there is none allready.
