It looks really unique, like it looks like it has horns and one leg to me. Maybe Ekimu finds it and befriends it before transforming into his more powerful form.
Maybe Ekimu even names it.

so I just build it myself only I made a version for umarak. it’s a really fun thing.
Makuta: “Ekimu, finally we meet, prepare to . . . what is that?”
Ekimu: “It’s my bird!”
M: “What’s its name?”
E: “Uhhhh, Ma . . . kuta?”
M: “OH, so it’s REPLACEMENT, is it?”
E: “What? He’s adorable and reminds me of you!”
