Well, since the Toa also have animal companions, the Toa are also Takanuva, so either the Toa are both their element and light or they were disguised Toa of Light all along.

Seriously, everytime I look at the box art, Ekimu looks like he could be a Toa of Lightning.

I feel like it should be Alpha Destroyer so we can have Omega Tahu v. Umarak the Alpha Destroyer.
Wait… Gali is shown using electrical based powers, so maybe lighting is a sub-element of water, and Ekimu is trans-blue. I also remember someone saying that on the 2015 Bionicle site the villagers of water live near the water and worship it as a force of creation. So maybe Ekimu is a Toa of water? Makuta could possibly be earth, which I imagine as a secondary force of creation.

Ekimu is the Toa of Cosmos, he is past his old elemental ties and is reborn as an entity of Cosmic significants.
