Initially I was skeptical, I accepted that there could possibly be a pair of eyes but also pointed out that it could just be an allusion.
Having made it more clear, I accept that there is indeed a mask/face present.
But who’s to say that it’s the MOUP

I have to say I disagree. The lines along the side of the mask are too harsh for it to be like looking at a cloud that looks like a face. It also wouldn’t make sense as an effect, it just doesn’t look enough like generic energy waves or something. I’m very sure it’s the MoUP, it seems like Umarak is trying to summon Makuta or something.

We don’t know for sure the remaining “spikes” are on the cheeks. Could as well be on the forehead.
One reason being they might want to make it resemble MoCo or Kraahkan more.

So… I just looked at the “poster” of the upcoming JTO episodes and wow, so dark and cool. I can’t think of doom and gloom when I see such things. Epic.
P.S.: Remember when some people were glimpsing masks within the cloud in the box arts? They can be mocked no more.

I think its a bit obvious: Umarak has succeeded and we are seeing Makuta rise. I mean, yeah, of course we knew it would happen but i don’t see why it wouldn’t be the MoUP.

I’d believe we see Makuta awakening at the end, the possibility they are already shoving the MoUP might indicate Makuta also wears it rather soon.

Wow that’s actually pretty cool! Somehow It has a vibe of the MoL.
By the way I know It’s gonna be an unpopular opinion, but I think The MoUP shouldn’t come with Makuta in one set.
Think about it, every great Mask we got has been donned by the bad guy of the sets with it. If Makuta will put it on again, it will cause another cataclysm which I’m not sure if the island can take.

Then we must see in what size he will come out as a set. If in a protector size, then he won’t don it, but if in a toa-villain size then he will.
