Is it just me or does pohatu seem a bit like he’ll take more of a leader role? He’s already been quite important in season 1 and he was shown on the front of the new poster, and in two scenes both fighting and arguing with umarak. Plus there was that thing in his bio last year calling him a leader or whatever.
Even though I’m (obviously) a tahu fan, I think that’d be cool to have pohatu as leader.

Maybe Ekimu’s falcon will get a major upgrade next year (like Ekimu did) and become a main character.

I say it’s the front part of the MoCr.
Basically, it looks almost like Umarak grabs the very front prong and rips it off. He now has a prong-to-chin chunk of the mask.

In the UK the Bionicle Magazine came out today. It costs £3.50 and comes with aspects that you have all probably already seen. Picked up three copies and enquired as to when they would stock the next issue (Mostly for confirmation that they would). I was then told that they would be getting the second issue of the Bionicle comic on the
#6th October
I made sure to double check and confirm it and they did. So it seems that the 26th October release date for the comic, at least in the UK, may not be accurate and it will instead be the 6th October. Will update you all if it changes.

Ignore the ‘4 issues’ that’s just how many they will be given in terms of stock on the 6th October. They couldn’t clarify how many issues of the magazine there would be overall

We’ve already had proof in G2 that masks can be broken, removed or even destroyed without the user dying. The user just gets weaker until they collapse and go into a coma-like state. Nobody in G2 has become a Ghost and nobody seems to be thinking that Even Makuta seems to be projecting himself somehow using a mixture of the shadow powers Umarak has mixed with possibly the element of fire rather than being a ghost (G1 had him do this also in ‘Mask Of Light’)
In essence;
- Yes, the Mask Of Creation can be broken in the summer storyline
- No, Ekimu doesn’t need to become a ghost to have the same crystalline armour as the beasts and Umarak
It is very likely that the golden Mask Of Creation is broken, forcing Ekimu to mirror what he did in the 2016 storyline and build himself something to help himself fight back against the bad guy.
I’d go with the idea that Ekimu fights Umarak to buy the Toa some time - only to have his mask taken and broken by Umarak the Destroyer. The Toa would then be forced to retreat with Ekimu in his weakened stat. Then Ekimu would build himself a crystalline mask and armour from what is around him - thus giving him the power to fight Umarak again.
- It does look like the Mask Of Creation’s middle segment
As for spoilers that happened;
- Lego revealed the ending of the 2015 Winter storyline weeks prior
- Lego revealed the ending of the 2015 Summer Storyline weeks prior
- Lego released all of the 2015 animations weeks prior ‘accidentally’ in varying locations.
- Lego has allowed for Bionicle books to have pages revealed prior to release that showed the ending of several books and major plotpoints
- Lego revealed the ending of the 2016 Winter Storyline a months prior
- Lego revealed the ending of the 2016 Winter animations in the trailer for said animations
- Lego revealed the ending of the 2016 Summer storyline in a game released weeks prior
##LEGO have spoiled every major aspect of G2 Bionicle - every single step of the way via either accidents or intentionally revealing something that should have been kept hidden
To me it looks like a sideways view of the Mask Of Creation. Bearing in mind that the image of the Mask Of Creation you shared was angled up slightly and the thing Umarak The Destroyer is holding is also angled slightly differently. But a lot of aspects line-up pretty close to the Mask Of Creation even despite the odd angles.
Its not the whole mask, but appears to be the middle segment of the mask with the back and sides broken off.
- A couple of the lines I’ve done are slightly off to where they should have been. The bottom four line-up exactly but the top few are a bit off and might need to be moved up at some point. My terrible line editing aside, it all fits ><

I just built “Doomarak”, and I have to say that, although the size is impressive, it looks terrible, even more than the Beasts. It’s a messy pile of blades and crystals, and most of the build was UtD all over again ( but at least UtD looked a bit “cleaner”). And the worst thing is that there are so many spare parts that could have greatly improved it! I’m disappointed.

no, it does not.
I just can’t see any sort of similarities to the MoCr (que someone joking about me needing to get my eyes checked)
and again, it looks noting like the MoCr, no matter how one twist and turns the images of the peice, there is just no similarity i can see.
This is really starting to sound like the “i can see the maze in the sky” debate.
also, anyone who still wish to say that the fragment just can’t be from the MoUP because its black and not gold, let me just remind everyone, that WE. DON’T. KNOW. WHAT. MATERIAL. THE. MASK. IS . MADE. OUT. OFF
It could be for all we know, be made out of straws. And yeah, i mean it, noting from ither the books, the animations nor JtO have mentiond what the mask is made out off, so for all we know it could be made out of Magic Gold, and also here is the thing for why i think the MoUP is gold and not black.
The black and red coloration is just the mask “burning” with energy, similar too Ekimu’s blue MoCr
Basicly, this is what im trying to say here (im using Veanakart MoUP design for this:
thus, i am not saying that in 2017, we would get a pure golden MoUP, but instead something like the MoCo, as in two versions of the same mask. One which is its fragmented version that the winter story is about and the other, the powerd state being the one which people get in the summer 2017 story.

Are you serious? Did you read any of the reasons why I said he WOULD NOT be a ghost.

That can’t be a side of the Mask of Creation.
Look next to last line at the bottom. The details on the fragment looks almost like a piston, or rather a circle with two linear projections going back up the piece.
The Mask of Creation has nothing like that on it. If it was the MoCr, it would have a sloped rectangular shape, and we would clearly be able to see the runes written on it.
