Well to be fair someone posted his headcanon on the shadow traps giving them powers and he said the ice trap “sigma” was the class Umarak sent to trap Melum, but the extreme cold in Ko-koto always froze it.

For one, there IS a sixth shadow trap in possesion of Umarak.
He actually disembodied the Ice trap since it was useless and used it as armor.
