I’ve noticed that, on all the gen 2 bionicles, solid purple does not match transparent purple at all. Solid purple is a more reddish purple, while trans purple is a more bluish purple. Not really a fan of that.

@WOLKsite For me, they don’t look that good in hand. For example on 2016 onua, its annoying how the chest printing is clearly a different color than the transparent armor. Its just a minor nitpick but i wish they could get the colors right. Yeah it might just be an issue with whatever process they use to make the colors transparent.

I have an Idea on how to make moveable jaws. or at least on LB.
you replace the piece connecting the jaw to the axle with one that has a hole for a pin. then you relace the xle with one of those grey 2 long axle/ 1 long pin peices. then you add something inside the head for friction. not sure how well I explained that.

They dont seem all that different to me. Noticed the same thing on skull basher with his solid purple horns versus his trans purple armor

Can’t hurt to be anticipated. Plus I was interested cos the pics at the mo aren’t exactly great

@Mrblackpants I doubt it because it might mess up the pose they have placed the set in.

Still, I doubt they will allow tampering with the sets

I think they allow it if you’re with an employee. Otherwise they might get similar cases to Skull Scorpio last year, where the mask was stolen/fallen off.

So based on the zussamengebaut and Promobricks images, I attempted to count the number of pieces per each set.

Lava Beast: 110
Storm Beast: 78
Quake Beast: 89
Ekimu: 81
Umarak the Destroyer: ~220

I’m pretty sure that Storm has something going on in his lower back, though. Can’t quite figure out what it is.

I can understand managing to try and count the beasts or Ekimu… but how did you manage to count the pieces for Umarak The Destroyer when we have no shot of his side/back that shows his body connections or anything?
