At the moment there is literally nothing - so nothing to discuss and no reason to really bring it up. Its nice you shared that they said it, but at the moment we don’t have anything to discuss about it and probably shouldn’t discuss it. It could end up being in 5 hours nothing happens. If something does show up, print-screen it encase its removed - then report it to Meso to see if he can verify/we can discuss.
In 5 hours if/when we get more information, then PM Meso . At the moment its just a random guy saying what could be nonsense with no way to verify if its legit or not

Horde enemies would make sense i guess - though would prefer them to be individual powerful beasts under his control.
I think so, to a more limited effect. It had control over the Skull Spiders, but i don’t think it had control over anything else.

As long as it stated that every important mask will come out in the summer wave, it makes sence. However then it would come out in a bigger set including a good guy. Like the Ekimu vs. Kulta set.
This is what I was thinking. As displayed by Kulta these ‘legendary’ masks worn by the mask makers make the wearer extremely powerful. It’s possible Umarak somehow ‘absorbs’ the powers of the masks he wears, so the MoCo could transform him into some titan. Or maybe Makuta possesses Umarak transforming him into Umarak the destroyer and gets the MoCo. Like how anything Ninjago ghosts touch become super awesome.
Hasn’t been stated, but I’m guessing Umarak The Destroyer would be larger than Umarak the Hunter. Would make sense for the largest set of the second wave to have the rarest masks.
Possibly - though i guess when we get the Mask Of Control it would be in the shape it was when worn by Makuta.
These are the options I’m considering the most at the moment - the Makuta option seeming the most likely to me given they’d need to set-up Makuta so he can have a larger focus in 2017. Possession would work well, even if it would be a slight re-hash of the skull grinder subplot of him working with/being controlled by Makuta
The mask power absorbing was more like a Kulta thing. I hope they won’t bring it back next year. I want to see something new and original.
@Scarilian how about that mask on that tombstone in ep 14 could it be that of umuraks clan?

except that unlike the beasts, the creatures are named
Also possible - Umarak could be masquerading as Makuta OR Umarak could after all be a name for Makuta similar to how Teridax was introduced as a name for the G1 Makuta.
Not sure which mask image you are referring to - and we still don’t have confirmation whether Umarak is a single character or a title like Makuta was for G1.

I doubt that umarak is clan, now maybe he is from a clan from another island or something. There were quite a few masks and faces on those tombstones and I realy doubt they meant anything
Umarak might even BE Makuta, and for secrecy reasons LEGO is currently labeling him as Umarak. Similar to how some movies go under different and obscure names during shooting to avoid spoilers and people knowing where the shooting is happening that getting out. Umarak the Destroyer could end up being the time that Umarak is revealed to be Makuta in the flesh/bodily material.
We don’t really have any idea if he is part of a clan or if the mask is passed down. Only masks we know that are passed down is for the Protectors.
Yeah, that could be a thing. Would definitely be a better name than Makuta and would be a nice reveal when we see the leaked pictures.
