or it could be like a twist on the G1 story of Teridax controling the rahi, exept in G2, its that everyone thinks its Makuta, when in fact its not, and is instead Umakar who is using the MoCo

Thatās all under the assumption heās apart of a clan. I doubt this will be the case seeing as LEGO is very vague about species or groups of villains so far. Even if he is apart of a form of society, LEGO wont stray from tribes. Seeing as the two are very similar (infact, in context, a clan would be a family within one of the tribes) LEGO would just refer to Umarak as belonging to a specific tribe, as theyād have to create one anyway.

I hope Umarak has more story to him than just being a mindless hunter under Makutaās control, or maybe ending under his control but a character that wouldnāt be created from thin air like LoSS at least.
I hope Umarak isnāt under Makutaās control and serves as a sort of third faction

Iām pretty sure Umarak is a character. If he wasnāt, the set would be named Umarak Hunter, not Umarak the Hunter, I doubt there would be two characters with the same names, remember, this line is for younger people than G1 was.
Iām pretty sure everyone one who arenāt āRahiā have masks, as I doubt lego would design a new head for 1 character.
And I really doubt he is a part of a clan. How would a whole clan exist on Okoto without anyone knowing about it?
I kinda think of Umarak D as Ultron Prime. He arrives as hunter, stays so until the end where he getās upgraded somehow, as many people think, by the MoCo, into the Destroyer.

g2 seems to be really good at keeping the story content easily understandable for everyone.
set wise it sucks at it. when I was young I didnāt need bright yellow gears to understand that they had a reason and I think that goes for everyone here.

I think itās good to differentiate them with yellow because the choice of the gears being black was bad to begin with. I would much preferred some other color
my little brother didnt need the yellow gear
just replace them with other gears

what made me angry is that they used smooth gears and not classic gears.
classic gears cant even be used with the gearbox i wish they wouldve made them compatible

that annoyed me too.
they are usable to an extent like this (sorry for bad qaulity my camera is bad) 
however i have been trying to find a way to make them compatible there is a way but it requires cutting off the little holders for the smooth gears
i need an way to do that though
it works but it kinda defeats the purpose of the gear box
