I’d like Bionicle to keep the tribal aesthetic, especially since Umarak could potentially have skulls for armor. That would look so cool for a hunter.

Didn’t quite catch what you meant but it’s true. The leg armor works on most the toa, Though on Pohatu and Onua not at all and looks very odd with Gali because of the way her “thigh shell” is placed… So they would have to make her upper leg bones one stud taller from the bottom up. using this http://www.bricklink.com/PL/90615.jpg?1
On Pohatu at least They could give him one stud longer lower leg armor and put the new SW shoulder add-on on it.

Hopefully all toa have individual molds for them, I’m not against using them later after that and was kinda surprised they didn’t re-use any of them with skull sets.
It’s also okay if Umarak or the creatures share those molds but I just want the toas’ weapons look individual.

It’s kinda difficult to think what type of weapons the Toa could have, without being redesigns. I hope the Toa have weapons that’d need a similar fighting style to master. It’d be terrible if Lewa went from axes to maces, as you fight differently with the two. I can see Pohatu having throwing axes and Lewa better swords, but the others I can’t tell. There isn’t alot of room for improvement for them to do redesigns either. There are minor things they could do (extended staffs, recolours etc.). Kopaka’s weapon is the only one I can see them majorly improving. I guess the Toa could have weapons that are somehow related to the creatures.

for pohatu his boomerangs can already make battle claws so claws for pohatu. swords for lewa.
Drills for onua. an evolution of the fire swords for tahu
A sword and shield for kopaka
a spear for gali
Speaking of SW shells, has anyone tried to make the new leg shell fit on an arm? That or take Kopaka’s lower leg build and put two shells on it with the larger side closer to the bottom?
I could see Tahu with a different sword, Kopaka could get a sword or lance, Onua could have a pic axe, Gail could have a javelin or spears, Lewa could just have throwing axes or somthing similar.
And don’t ask why, but I want to see Pohatu with a chainsaw. He’s already the Mad Max of the team, might as well go all the way.

Well that would just go out of nohwhere wouldnt it? i can imagine him with claws as his weapons now can already make claws.

Claws come out of nowhere. Pohatu’s stormerangs have nothing to do with claws except you can make them look like claws. With that logic all the Toa can have claws. Not to mention you’re more likely to get dual functionality from chainsaws than claws. I think you only want claws because of this…

I was actually thinking of a small functional chainsaw, one that uses the smallest treads. A new chainsaw piece would probably be more feasible though.
I guess they could pull an Onua Nuva and give him apocalypse-skates

there is no reason for pohatu to have chainsaws. it makes no sense if you want to evolve the current weapons

I never said I wanted chainsaws, quite frankly I dont want chainsaws. I’m saying just because something looks like something doesn’t make it a good evolution of that weapon. Stormerangs are boomerangs, throwing weapons. Just because they have some vague resemblance to claws does not make claws a good evolution. I dont want to start a fight either. I’m pointing out that your argument for claws is flawed. Also, I think you only want claws because of Pohatu Nuva because you are constantly making posts on how you want revamps of the Nuva.

if Pohatu should use his boomerangs as claws too, then seeing how they can bend, then they could have a different use as saws, in a way, i mean if they are attached by the rotor to his hands, then they could then be straintend out, and thus be used as saws.
Foot addons, i think is stupid, in that it he can’t fight a foe unless he runs towards them, also it would mean that he had to use rocks or other stuff for long range attacks, and how would playing soccer be a good way to fight the LoSS or Skull Grinder?
Because, the problem is that then he becomes to G1, and then its just ask the question of why they made a G2, when they could just go back to G1 if thats what everyone want the G2 characters to be like. It won’t allow us to go in a different direction with this Generation, it would just be lazier G1. And people won’t like that.
