its kind of both way, sort of, its the same armor as 2016, but its really beaten up and have new peices added on to fix holes, dents, or replace lost parts, and the weapons would probably be more makeshift, like Kopaka could make a new shield to replace the gun/shield he lost in the battle again’st Umarak the destroyer, but fixing his sword, like removing a broken part or two and add some stuff he found to fix it and still have it usable.

Like i said, they use the same design, but its a more beaten up look for them with some new peices and weapons just to show that Toa have suffered their greatest defeat so far but now they must make their last stand against Makuta to save Okoto, with their duty in mind, standing united against their foes and now preparing for their destiny.
it beats the other possibilities of the toa going full transparent form, or we just getting a new group of toa before the year is over.
a different idea would have the entire winter wave of 2017 being made of this: Six toa sized villains who are named and six smaller nameless villain characters who will be used for army building given how much cheaper they are compared to the toa sized ones and ither A: a new form for Ekimu or B: the Toa sized Makuta that people have been expecting for some time now.

Is Russia really so exclusive? It’s hard to believe because LEGO is VERY expensive here, especially in last two years.
Anyway, this topic is about speculation. Am I the only one who thinks that we won’t get MoUP in set? I can’t imagine LEGO making this thing with 6 coloured crystals, it’s just insane!
But I really want to have Mask of Time, it looks very promising in a graphic novel and the mold is not very complex
