Hello everyone, this is my submission for the contest. I didn’t want to simply copy the moc, so I was aiming to make my Helryx look close to the description in the story (unique and frail), meanwhile trying to stay as authentic to the model as possible. As for the Kanohi, I used mostly Arthron, Iden and G2 Gali’s mask as inspiration. Wasn’t really going for any specific look or design, just wanted to create a good looking Kanohi that would fit in to the lore. So that’s it, I hope you’ll like it.

This drawing looks great! I like how you added some feminine features. The background is probably one of my favorite details. It really reminds me of the early years of Bionicle. Well done

It seems a bit like an amped-up version of the Gali G2 mask.

I think the mask design works well, don’t let the criticism get to your head. Besides, several artists just up-and borrowed mask designs made from other artists. Your background is really beautiful too! Congrats on making it to the second round, and good luck!
