What do you guys think is the most accurate color for Artakha’s mask/secondary color?

I think an argument can be made for pretty much any colour.

One the one hand, Artakha got the mask after he was built, so it doesn’t necessarily match his colour scheme at all.

On the other hand, Artakha could have easily changed his armour colour to match the Mask.

And I think that that colour should be gold because it is a Legendary Kanohi.

Which gold though? The two Legendary masks we have are different colours.

This wasn’t a mask he was made with, he won it, I think it should stick out as something special like the golden masks from 2002, else it I feel it loses its legendary air.

This is why I personally like the idea of using the copper used on the Masks of Victory - it’s already an established “special” colour associated with rarity and fine craftsmanship.

I’d personally like to see the mask be metallic sand green, but if it has to be gold, then I’d definitely prefer it to be the only gold on Artakha.

I’m pretty sure that the Vahi and the Ignika are canonically the same gold. Lego just changed their colour pallette.

So, in a physical form, it would probably be new gold. But in-universe, gold is gold.

Though I also like the idea of it being the same colour as the Copper Masks of Victory, which would be a different colour.

Artakha, the Great Creator (Canon Contest #2: Meet the Maker)

Inspired by the great spirit ( ) of the community I decided to join in on the fun and present my take on Artakha. [DSC_0052] My main point of attention was to create a build which doesn’t feel out of place in the vast line of titan sets released over the years. So, no overly detailed limbs and torso, as well as the typical lower leg build commonly seen in these sets. Also even though it is a rather simple build I am really proud of the usage of the mata heead in the hammer. It just fits the aesthetic of the character in my opinion. Artakha the Paranoid Ruler (Canon Contest #2: Meet the Maker)

Many greetings! Here is the entry of mine. Artakha was one of my favorites among other characters for a long time, so when TTV announced their canonization contests i decided to have a finger in a pie. Artakha seem to me more as ruthless and edgy character rather than a peaceful mask maker like Ekimu was in G2. That’s why I’ve decided to make his color scheme darker. The model isn’t too rich in green pieces, so I won’t be surprised if it won’t pass, but i think it’s worth trying. Hope ya’ll enjoy it! Hey there everyone so this is my Artakha Moc for the contest and my second entry in these canon contests. The goal for this one was to make him seem like he could have been released by Lego, lets get it started! Artakha (Canon Conest #2 - Meet the Maker)

I didn’t want to do the overused Mata Green and Gold or Metru Green and Silver colour schemes, because that’s not how I imagine Artakha. I see him as someone incredibly ancient, and I wanted to convey that with these more faded colours. I also gave him these silver gauntlet-y things, which I see him using like gloves to protect himself from the heat of any molten metal he might be forging. His hammer is nothing special, but it’s not really meant to be. It’s just a forging tool, not something so ornate that you wouldn’t want to ever hit anything with it. His articulation is, surprisingly, pretty decent, considering the layers and layers of armour he’s got. It’s not gr…

This is a Contest that I’ve been eagerly awaiting. Artakha was one of my first proper MOCs that I made, and the idea of entering my version of him into this contest is one that I’ve eagerly anticipated since the contests were first being discussed. That being said, this contest came at a bit of an inopportune time for me, as I had just left for college about a week before the contest was announced. I actually had to mail Artakha to college in order to get the necessary pictures and enter into this contest. But enough about my experience with this MOC. Here it is. Hey, @Eljay, I have a question. My moc is in dark green but I’ve made him a head using lime green armour pieces from 2010 stars gresh and creating sth like the crown. I have to know if that would be a problem because technicaly there are 2 shades of green but his head, or rather the mask, is going to be designed in seperate contest so it should not matter at all.

Hello there! EDIT: FINAL PHOTO WITHOUT’THE CROWN’: [IMG_20200924_170459] Let me introduce my imagination of the greatests creator in the Matoran Universe, which is Artakha. I’ve called hin ‘Great Being’ createt by Great Beings because actually he is for the residents of the Mata Nui what Great Beings were for residents of Spherus Magna.
