“Holds 40 photos” lol

I wouldn’t have thought that 09 BIONICLE wouldn’t have had the budget for cross-promotions like this. :stuck_out_tongue:

Is it just me or does Greg pull off that exact same open mouth smile on every picture that he’s in?

The very first image (of Bionicles that I bought) I saw of Bionicles in a toy store. Thought the red one was Tahu back then so thats why I bought him first. The 2004 Matoran are the only group I ever finished collecting.

You whippersnappers and your fancy “Zamors” and “All-American Rejects” and “Stuart Sayger”! Why, back in my day the Toa were $7.99 apiece, their parts were impossible to use, they had barely any “articulation”, Pohatu didn’t have any weapons, and Mata Nui was a rock! We never had all of this fancy Inika stuff, we had to survive with what we had! :point_up_2:

Then he was an island, then he was a spirit, and then he was a spirit made of rock with an island.

Mata Nui is still a rock.

Also, there were collectibles that young people had no hope of ever getting together, only to spend later years in life desperately trying to obtain all of said collectibles and spending exorbitant amounts of money that could go to much better things on them cough Krana cough

Wait, that’s just me…?

Me too! Those darn misprint Kanohi, and the other quintillion types of other collectibles.

Ack… it’s a pain. So far I have 8 of the 24 sets of Krana (not including metal/silver/platinum/exclusive purple ones) and it’s been a huge drain on my wallet. The individual shipping on each separate one is what kills you if you’re even lucky enough to find one on sale…

Import charges were another $50 on top of the $475 it took to get my GPKK Bo Kal.

Other than the other GPKK and all the metal ones, I’ve nearly got all the Krana.

This was the first Bionicle picture I saw. A year before I got my first set that started it all.

Dude, that’s awesome! I wish I’d get the chance to get stuff like that added, but probably not for a few years lol. The rarest thing I have is a white metal Krana Kal that I won for $200 on an ebay auction… still pricy as heck, probably a bit overpriced-- but it was the first one I’d seen go on sale in like 5 years haha. At least shipping was free :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, @Booster_Gold your picture had me laughing for about 5 minutes. That was great haha.
