New photo! This one is from 2001… anyone else remember it as the face of Bionicle for that year? Because I sure do!
In hindsight, I really, really wish they had released that color of green as the collectible Krana in the kanohi packs, not the purple ones… but oh well.

Huh. I always saw it as being slightly darker in color… who knows.
And this is the first EVER image of Bionicle I saw. One of my friends back then had a Lego catalogue and all the Toa Mata when I came to play at his house. After that, I really wanted one, but started from 2004 when I actually knew how to save up money and even a larger amount of money in my pocket.
Ah, I remember that- but vaguely, lol. I was till pretty young back then. My first image I ever saw though was the one below, as it was my first set and actually the first time I ever saw a Bionicle.
How four (or three? Not sure) year old me sort of put it together on an airplane, I have no idea.
Unlike all you skrubs, who had a first set, this Mcdonald’s toy was my introduction/first impression to the Bionicle Universe. 
So then I proceeded to buy Thok, Matoro and Pridak. And I concluded at age 6 or 7 that the white guys were the coolest
Beginning with that, I’m surprised you stuck around at all! 
I saw the link to Bionicle.com at the back of the toy packet, and decided to check it out because I thought it looked cool.
When I went on Bionicle.com and explored a bit, it was like love at first sight.

To my standard of completeness, nobody will ever get a complete collection.
We can still try though! 
ToaLhikanHordika of BZPower is trying to get a complete collection.
But, based on how stuff from Bionicle was released… it’ll never happen D:
Well MC already has the PA, so it would be impossible for TLH to do it.
Even MC wouldn’t be able to get everything, including all the prototype parts and sets that have ever been created.
I currently have 2 parts he hasn’t got himself, and according to him, he only needs 1 of those for his collection.
