We don’t know much about it, so now I’m just focusing on the next book.

If Ekimu makes them new mask, I think the new masks will have the powers of the golden masks (just because it would be ridiculous to increase the Toa’s power and then simply go back to a weaker state) along with new powers. (New powers that the Toa can learn to use in 20016)
Also I think the masks will look different, but not as extreme as the Nuva mask transformation, or Hero Factory helmets that radically change every year. I hope it will be more like a metru Hau vs a Mata Hau or they just use all those wonderful concept drawings…
I really like the one on the top right. It’s almost like a gun. (laser vision here we come)
I also think the pedestal where we met LordoSS most likely held the GMoSS.

Now this is what I believe what the 2016 story is about.
My 2016 story:
The Toa, in their new upgraded forms, the Uniters, go searching for the Mask of Control, but, they get attacked by a monstrous creature known as Umarak the Mask Hunter! The Toa are defeated easily and their new Golden Masks are stolen by Umarak as he leave to keep searching. There the Uniters are; lying on the ground, maskless, nobody around… Suddenly, the Toa wake up! They new masks on their faces and look up to see a strange sight: Beautiful, shining creatures! They team up and follow Umarak’s footsteps; he seems to know where he’s going^. The Toa and the Creatures end up in a strange maze in the Jungle Region. Umarak spots them, and out of nowhere, horrifying trap spiders start swarming the maze. The traps are trying to capture the Creatures and attack the Toa. The Toa and Creatures fight back, until they make their way to Umarak and try to take him down. They manage to get their Golden Masks back, but Umarak knocks the Toa off. The Uniters put their masks back on and become powerful again, but Umarak runs off. Then, something happens: Toa and Creature UNITE! They become one! They follow Umarak, plowing through the traps. They see Umarak about to get the MoCo, and attack! What happens next? Find out on the next exciting episode of… BIONICLE!

Also, this isn’t a place to share how you think the story will go unless we have proof.
Something that would count as proof would be:
-The sets seems to have connections with the creatures, so that’s a verified fact.
-Umarak has the mask of control (?). What will he use it for?
-The Toa in the background of Umarak’s box seem to be going around this puzzle-like building. Possibly a labyrinth? Just speculation.
-Why does Kopaka have a special set? Is he finally gonna become the leader of the team or something?

Umerak and his trap spiders are somehow related to Kulta/Skull Grinder and/or LoSS with his Skull spiders…

was thinking of somehow there being a familial relation, like when Kulta dies, Makuta calls up his relative/brother/whatever Umerak, who has mutant skull spiders(or a subspecies) which is the Bear Trap Spiders,

there are more questions that do needed answering and Umarak must has a reason about the mask and it is questionable why Kopaka and Melum are in the same box. And what I said is prettymuch covers what was saw, about the bear traps are set by Umarak and catching them and use the mask of control to control the creatures to defeat the Toa.

So one night i was thinking about the 2016 leaks then a huge thought hit me.What if umarak was a way to reintroduce the dark hunters.My first reason is why umarak is there. So once i saw the mask of control was on his box i got the idea that umarak is a hunter sent by the the dark hunters to get the mask of control,why you might ask , why? My answer is Umarak was sent by the dark hunters to get the mask on control so they could conquer okoto. Assuming the mask of control has the power to control people it would make it very useful tool for the dark hunters to take over okoto , there is most likely a legend or something telling them were the mask of control. Umarak is sent to place where the legend says where the mask is, umarak get there and hes looking for the mask and hes attacked by the creature, assuming there are more then one creation for each element , umarak is forced to start killing the creatures and to prevent froming being attacked again , he lays down “bear traps” so they wont attack him as much anymore.The toa some how find out about the legend , and they go and they see that umarak is killing/trapping the creatures. assuming that that that the toa dont become unifires after they meet up with umarak, the toa get beat down and something changes them into unifires and they fight umarak with creatures uniting with there elements to defeat umarak and umarak comes back as the destroyer in 2017.
Do you have anything you think would back up this idea?
Don’t get me wrong, I’d love Lego to use the term “Dark Hunters” and everything, but so far the only story details we know are:
- The Toa get upgraded or something with new masks.
- The Toa are able to “unite” with the creatures.
- Umarak is hunting for something. Perhaps the Mask of Control? Or perhaps the creatures he’s hunting.
- No doubt Ekimu will probably be back.
- Umarak probably gets the Mask of Control, seeing as he has it in his set.
This is all I got from the past leaks we’ve gotten.

Well, a lot of that stuff seems to be your own ideas.
Honestly, I wouldn’t keep using this topic until new info comes out about the story.
Still, I wonder what “The Journey to One” will be about? Why is there a journey to one? So much we don’t know.
Journey to become one? To unite? To gain Unity? To become Uniters?
That’s what I think of it.
