Yes. Senior year upperclassman Tahu(nuva), who’s sliding by on sports scholarships has a big uwu crush on the nerdy tomboy Junior year Gali(mata)

They’ll have a love triangle with Kopaka (nuva), the local cool guy, and in the end Gali takes out Pohatu(mata) the sophmore soccer star and everyone’s best friend- infuriating Tahu and kopaka

Maku and Huki are highschool sweethearts uwu

Turaga Matau is the English (or Matoran) teacher, because he can teach everyone to speak-talk like normal people :stuck_out_tongue:

akkar’s “pay attention and you might actually learn something” line is coming to mind and now I’m imagining him as a teacher

Voriki is that guy who’s always hanging out at the school, but isn’t actually a student.

Maybe the math teacher? I dunno, the kind of mentality that that line has makes me think of fussy math teachers.

I’m calling the police. is he homeschooled?

I like to imagine Takua, Velika, and Kopeke are the yugioh kids. Gavla is the creepy girl who claims to be a witch

Similarly, the Millennium Slizer graduated several years ago, but he still comes back on his motorcycle every couple weeks at lunch to brag about the gold disc he won at the Ultimate Throwbot tournament in his junior year.

2001: Six new transfer students have to work past their differences, defeat the corrupt vice-principle Makuta and his army of … furries? (How do you reinterpret rahi in this scenario?)

2002: Now fired, Makuta unleashes a swarm of termites to eat the school.

2003: Jaller and Takua join the sports festival to win the Cup of Light, but Makuta’s edgelord sons have other plans.

2004: The Teachers reminisce about their school days in the big city. Quarterbacker Lhikan disappears, and it’s up to Vakama, Nokama, and Matau to bust him and their other friends out of detention.

2005: Vakama’s emo phase. He gets a goth gf who’s really into spiders.

2006: Free the Band is canon. Upcoming rap group, the Piraka, are kidnapping musicians to win the Voya Nui Battle of the Bands. It’s up to Jaller and his friends to start his own rock band. Their sound isn’t just electric, it’s lightning.

2007: It’s spring break and Team Inika goes to the beach. Unfortunately, the beach is located right next to a maximum security prison.

2008: It’s spirit week! But everyone’s going through a goth vampire phase.

2009: Mata Nui comes out of retirement, but Makuta strands him in a desert or something. IDK.

2010: Mata Nui returns to take the school back from Makuta. But before they can finish their fight, a stray basketball knocks Makuta on the head.
