Which one was Proto-Solek? Was it this thing?
If so, then yaa heās way better. Correct me if Iām wrong, but Mata Blue was only in 2 sets from 2006/2007: Dalu and Gadunka, right? Could be wrong on that, but I donāt think so. Also, I donāt know what the heck those weapons are, but theyāre weird, hilarious, and certainly not boring.

Heās an Av-Matoran, and they all have light green or yellow eyes, not blue eyes.
They can bend the light to change the way their armor is percieved, but not their eye colour.
Nice review by the way, but I hate it when people type big chunks of paragraphs together, I had a hard time reading it.

Just a side note but there are only 4 sets from 2004-2008 to use mata blue. THe other two are Jetrax and Suukorak

Still unsure how Solek became such a terrible set after his prototype. Kind of regret owning him to be honest, because of how bad it is xD
