I don’t use netflix, I watch things on youtube or on tv. Besides adventure time has a deep storyline and is super successful
Than again if they do end up making a show in CN it would be eh…because Ninjago gets loong episodes. And also don’t expect that for the moment, netflix original shows are released with all their respective episodes the same day.

I personally wouldn’t, the realistic textures suits better, and the style in the Netflix show is 11/10 god tier. Imo

What if they lied to us and instead of 4 episodes we have 20. It just depends on if we support the show in the pilot episodes.

Yes, pilot episodes are there to test response and gain awareness.
Nope.
They may leave the story open-ended or give hints toward the future but I can assure you they do not write a full season of episode scripts before they can see the response to the pilot. At the most maybe one or two episodes, but 20? Ridiculous. Let’s look at Ninjago, which started as a piolt mini series. Their initial run completed an arc, and left some open ends. The standard pilot-test strategy. The show hit well with their intended audience, so more episodes were commissioned. However they didn’t start the series again until nearly a year later to promote the next year of toys.
Now I’m not sure how Lego is going to pace the episodes compared to the story. They could try to do the entire year in 4 episodes or perhaps 4 for the winter and later 4 for the summer. At this point though I don’t expect a fully fledged show until next year if JTO performs well.

I don’t know about the 20 minute runtime, but yes so far we only know there will be 4 episodes. I’m just wondering how much story ground they intend to cover in the first 4.

There will be four episodes, yes. We dont know their lengths. Could be four 60min-90min movies, could be four 10 min shorts. Bearing in mind Netflix originals often have many episodes, and are meant to be watched over a long time, not all at once. So if they dont do a full series I can expect a good 40min each.

That makes no sense. If it was 20 episodes on Netflix in this run then they would state it. I suppose if this was a serious comment you may be referring to the idea that they are already planning a full series with this acting as an introductory four episodes - in which case it could happen, though chances are they’ll just do a few episodes grouped together to form a movie-like story rather than a whole series.
We had confirmation on the amount of episodes, the runtime as far as i am aware was only speculated.
Speculating;
Would guess they would cover the 2015 Winter and Summer wave along with the 2016 Winter Wave. Chances are it’d end with the Toa finding the creatures and racing Umarak to the maze. Then it’d be picked up later in the form of another bunch of episodes or a movie to tell the 2016 summer and the 2017 story.
Not entirely, Lego has a plan and even if the pilot does incredibly well it’d take time to make episodes. Supporting the pilot would probably show Lego more people are interested in a Bionicle show, though it doesn’t necessarily mean more episodes and even if more episodes were granted it would take about months depending on if they were planning for that potentially happening.

Hey, guys! “The Brick Fan” has reported on news from London ToyFair 2016, and it would appear that there has been official confirmation that Journey to One will be comprised of four, 22 minutes long, episodes!
