Biovival Discussion (aka Christian Faber's mysterious project)

It kind of reminds me of the giant pieces in The Legend Reborn.

huh, I don’t remember any giant pieces in the movie…

I believe he’s referring to the pieces of the prototype robot seen throughout the movie.

Can’t find any specific screenshots, but giant pieces are all around in the scene where Mata-Nui rides with Metus to Vulcanus.

Thinkin’ he might be talking about the teasers.

No, I could have sworn there were giant pieces at the start, when Metus and Mata Nui were going to Vulcanus.

Am I misremembering?

Man I remember thinking that was Matoro somehow

I find it incredibly ironic that he’s going on a tedX.

Ironic? Why is that?

Personally I’m rather excited for it. What Rig21 is doing technologically is… fantastic. I assume it’ll primarily be about that as opposed to the stuff this thread is mainly covering, but I think it’ll be more than worth tuning in for that.

It definitely is.

They used Matoro Inika as a generic placeholder figure.

the huge piece is Matoro’s arm too lol

I have several questions:
A) Aren’t those just reposts?
B) This is related to Biovival…
C) …but why does he still call it Bionicle when he never confirmed any involvement of the Lego Group? I thought that was the point of the name change.
D) Will this ever make sense?

Are they?

I know that “BION” got posted way back at the very start of this whole thing, but I don’t remember seeing the rest of it before.

I was under the impression that “biovival” was just the new “14b2020”, which he probably changed since 2020 delayed a lot of plans.

Okay. The version I had in mind seems to be fanmade. My bad.

I would just like to know what the deal with this project is. Is it Fabers own project inspired by Bionicle (that was for most of the time what I suspected) or has it any real connection to Bionicle. Using the word Bionicle without clearly indicating that Lego is a part of the project is at this point just really confusing to me.

I’m really happy we get to see the whole thing (regardless of whatever is going on with the actual project).

I remember making my mockup of what the full thing could look like, and I’m just happy to see the whole word. It’s very aesthetically pleasing, I love the look and feel. Completely unique from the original logos, but it also keeps the same sort of feeling.

Not all of it, we never ha the full Logo from him before

Yes

Because Biovival is just a hashtag and not the project itself, as for the LEGO groups involement, we don’t know anything about it but that’s not to say they aren’t involved. We know that Faber has been having some meetings with unknown parties, so there is reason to believe one of those parties were LEGO.

Yes it will but people need to have some patience, project like these takes years they won’t happen over night especially if this is a pet or side project of Fabers
