I think you use too many weapons, but that’s just me.
You would be spot-on with that statement. This is mainly just another matter of a limited amount of parts, since I’m too reluctant to break down my sets, and my repainting skills are…mediocre.

Okay, I have a question for all of you that have been following this thread and like the MOCs. I want to come out and apologize for falling way farther behind schedule than I’d like to, so I want to make a proposition on how I want to run this from here-on out. See, the photos themselves are pretty easy to take and upload. What’s been slowing down getting these posts out is writing the backstories. As such, I’ve decided to make an offer: if you guys don’t really care for the long, in-depth backgrounds, I’ll either extremely condense them or just stop making them altogether. I mean, this is a MOC thread, not a place to show off my fanfic skills, so if you guys just want to get straight to the models and ditch all that pesky exposition, feel free to say so.

If someone doesn’t want to read the back story they can always skim or skip over it. But if is actually keeping you from posting your MOCs then maybe it is something to consider.

They’ve been slowing me down quite a bit. The thing is, if anyone here actually liked reading them, I’d consider keeping them around and simply work as best I can, but if no one really cares for them, I see no reason to make them massive paragraphs.

I like them. I consider back story important. Otherwise, I feel it’s like, “Here’s something I put together. Look how neat it is.” Whereas with a back story, it’s like, “This is something that actually exists and has a life.” If the story slows you down, then post the pictures first and do the story later. But please keep it around.

I concur with @DarkTakanuva; the stories are interesting. Maybe condense them down a bit to make posting easier, but please don’t get rid of them entirely.

Taking all of your words into account, I’ll be keeping the stories in place, though they will have to be shortened a bit in the future, and the upload times will have to be more irregular. I’m hoping to have my Toa of Fire and Toa of Water MOCs ready during this weekend (depending on what comes up). I had an issue with their photos, so I don’t how long it’ll take. Hopefully, I might be able to toss in two more Toa, but I can’t promise anything. To tide you guys over for just a little while, here’s some new photos of Toa Hunter 3.something-something.

Well, there’s organic protodermis, which makes up their tissue. It’s the closest thing that comes to mind.
