To be honest, I don’t think it fits the BIONICLE community very well. Names with “nite” aren’t very common or completely absent from both BIONICLE generations.
This was something I was mulling over just a moment ago, actually. I think this is a good idea.
@Collector good point.
We should call ourselves the Fantoka, the new ones a pun on a name.
I don’t know if that will ever be used, but that is a fantastic name. Maybe we can use this name to refer to people who grew up on G1?
Here are some of my ideas.
For the community as a whole:
Kanohian(s)
Illumakuta (Yeah, Yeah, be quite)
Fanonicle
MakuToa
For The Oldies:
Takuan(s)
Mata
Turaga
For The Newbies:
Nuva
Matoran
@squeaverking I also like Fantoka for newer fans
Bionicle fans

Bio-Tectors For The New Fans
Fanohis? Like… fans? and… kanohi.?
Ok i’ll see myself out
You know what, I REALLY like the name Fan-toka for the second generation fans!
I always refer to BIONICLE fans as “Gathered Friends” in my videos.
True dat. Classy indeed. But, I think I’m done coming up with names. Just as a recap, here are the two I contributed: Matans, for fans who got into the series pre-reboot, and Nuvians, for fans who get into the series post-reboot.
We should call ourselves the swag-bag.
@Obviously_Yoni I agree with “Turagas”!
But duuuuuuuude! Your picture makes you look like a Fan-toka
What about “The Bonklers”?
Jk, I think “bio-bros” sounds like a pretty decent fanbase name.
Nuians. 'Nuff said.
Bionicle Fans. Short, simple, and to the point.
Isn’t suggesting that going against the point of this topic?
Well, it is a name. I am just proposing it because almost no one is going to get annoyed about being called a ‘Bionicle Fan’.
I know. But the point is that we are trying to think about something besides that. I feel like we need to distinguish ourselves.
