On the one hand, I feel bad about being too busy today to post when stuff happens.
But then I realized that if someone’s actually in distress, my character would totally freeze up and not know how to be helpful despite wanting to be.

No, I didn’t get tired of referring to my character by non-names and come up with a thought process that led to a name, what are you talking about?
That’s the nice thing about writing a character with a thought process similar to mine: it’s not that unreasonable to go off on a mental tangent.
