The middle of three “siblings,” Eligos is the only male and given the responsibility to wear the Kanohi Zhio, the Mask of Space, by the Great Beings. The mask was very difficult to control, so he could never use it, however, without the Mask of Time to offset it. Should the Kanohi Vahi ever exist, it would be his sole duty to wear it with its “other half.”
Eligos is very headstrong, as is often held in line by his older sister Brionn, who often scolds him for never thinking things through all the way. The three of them all share the same destiny to serve as a last hope for Spherus Magna and all Matoran-kind. Where Miyaka is nimble and quick, Eligos is strong and able to endure. He wears the Kanohi Zhio, which allows him to bend space to his will (within his ability), which he uses to steal the Kanohi Vahi back from The Shadowed One. When combined with the Vahi, he has the limited ability to manipulate reality to a certain extent. Doing so takes a lot of concentration, mental fortitude, and endurance.
Eligos carries the Vorpal Lance and two Katana blades, being one of the only warriors able to beat Miyaka in sword combat. Much to his dismay, he has yet to ever beat Brionn with lance techniques.
Simply put, I’ve always wanted to make a Toa of Time. I just didn’t know how to make that happen or explain how someone can wear and use the Vahi without struggling so much. Then Galva’s Kanohi Zhio came to be, and an idea came to my mind. I was able to make my warrior of Time, after all. He’s not based off any already existing characters I made or any real life people like Miyaka and Brionn. He’s bascially just a concept I had for over a decade finally brought to life.
