So yeah, the first three animated shorts are now uploaded. Here’s a link to the first, which contains links to the other two.
I enjoyed them, but honestly they seem a bit rushed, probably due to them trying to cram a lot of info into just a minute and a half per episode. Still though, they were pretty amusing and it’s nice to finally see the story of this new Bionicle.

I’m surprised nobody has pointed this out, but the Protector of Fire is not just manly, has has a CHILD, WHO IS SMALLER THAN ANYBODY ELSE. This confirms they are primarily organic, as they need to grow.

Getting some Toa Mahri Mini-Movie vibes, amirite?
This is just a case of how there isn’t true voice acting and such.
So yeah, should we ever get a proper like, show or something, I’m certain we’d get said acting.

Yea, I watched all mini-movies about three times and it seems like there’s only one voice actor

The baby protector is just the most Adorable thing, I want a mini set of him

Dang, I don’t care what others say, the story is perfect. And the Protector of Fire is beast.
I am a really big fan of the new animation style. It gives off a cartoonish, but still serious tone. I also like the narration, very reminiscent of the old days.

Two things I’ve noticed.
“Lee-wah”
The Protector’s pages said that the Prophecy of Heroes was passed down through the generations, but this says Ekimu gave it to them.
The Fire Protector can control Fire. Yet we never see his blades.
That narrator sounds like he’s saying Toer instead of Toa. It’s driving me crazy.
Both Pohatu and the Protector of Stone have yellow eyes.
An obsidian crystal lands on Onua’s head.
There are light blue Skull Spiders.
Kopaka has a Hau?
JK but seriously that energy shield thing he has makes me question if the golden masks give them the same powers as the old ones.
I like how Tahu accedentally defeated the skull spiders in the animation. But the Fire protector is so awesome!
It’s an accent thing. Calm down, man.

Actually, didn’t Kopaka’s bio used to say he had a power called Frost Sphere or something like that? I guess the shield is considered an ice power now, even if doesn’t really look like it’s made of ice.
