Pitakas are one of my favorite bionicles and I would love to see them again!!!I whud make them a pirates whit a hole crew of little pirakas(Skakdi), like one from bionicle stars!They could live on islands far from Okoto and have a big pirate ship.They could have like little cannons for weapons similar to orginal piraka.They could fight agenst Tahu and his team or in my opinion Jaller and his team(Jaller, Kongu, Hahli, Nuparu, Matoro, and Hewkii) or some new toa, I dont care!Here are some design ideas:
Reidak-He is a captian,he have a big black pirate hat and black torn cloak
Hakann-He is explosives guy,he have couple of bombs on him and an eye patch
Zaktan-He have a big hook instead his hand
Vezok-He have a big pirate sword for a weapon and he have a parrot on his shoulder
Thok-He don’t have one leg and he is like knife guy(he have a lot of knives and hold one in his teeth)
Avak-He is a big strong guy and have no weapon(except little cannon) but he have big fists
I think this might be a bit too Cartoony, even for G2. Also, the likeliness of us having a set with a missing leg, an eye-patch, and a hat as pieces is zero to none.
I actually like the idea of Piraka pirates. While your pitch does sound pretty caricature-ish, I think elements of it could very feasibly be incorporated into legit CCBS sets.
Maybe a little less caricature elements, and more Skakdi would be cool. I’m fine with peg legs or massive hooks for weapons, or even swords, but perhaps not silly hats and eye patches.
What if the mask or helmet had one eye (or side of the face) “melted” or with a piece of metal bolted over it. That could be an edgy twist on the cartoony eye patch?
I think they should be more of a space pirate/smuggler.
They’d still have pirate aspects, but not silly hats or parrots.

I agree this might be cool with the new system, but I would just wonder how they would pull the teeth of… But it would be a great thing for Lego to do and I hope they will consider this. I also think vezon should be included as well, mabey as a cast away or a similar roll
I think Skakdi could be reintroduced, but the original Piraka (except maybe Vezon) should stay out of it. I think we need some new villians who could maybe be inspired by the original Piraka. Having the original Piraka would be distracting to me at least.
Personally I’d like new bohrok and bahrag queen or queens. I think it’d be interesting to make the bahrag actual characters commanding these armies and outsmarting and fighting the toa. That and original villains who could be pirates I suppose.
