Gukko Variants of Colour
So as some of you may know, I’ve designed a fairly large Gukko design that was commented upon by TTV in their latest podcast. The ideas they came up with was that as the Gukko was blue, it would be invisible against the blue sky above it, almost like a stealth vehicle. Whilst I still like this idea and am incorporating it into another G3 set concept, I made the “Bluejay” as the original Gukko colours kinda suck. It made my saddle design blend in too much and overall was a bit bland, this is why I made it blue.
However you guys probably came here for some concepts, so here I’ve done some other colour schemes to show the potential of other colours, perhaps different per region (maybe Mangai has light blue, Ihu has red-black, something different from their colour schemes).
The original colour is in the middle, these designs have had the back saddle component replaced with the back feather design. You may also notice that the piece connecting the back left tail feather to the body is missing, this is just an LDD error.
The colour schemes are all basic replacement pallettes mostly, but they show what else the G3 Gukko could look like in other media such as animations, comic, as described in books etc.
As to whether the stealth Gukko will have a set… Depends on how much of the lore in the bible gets confirmed and nailed down, It’s just small details I need but I have some good ideas for what a Kanaen army would incorporate.
